Our 14-day Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2024 begins in Kathmandu, featuring a scenic drive to Kyirong and includes the Parikrama of the Holy Lake Mansarovar and Kailash Parvat. You’ll visit sacred sites like Shivasthal, where offerings are believed to be rewarded in the afterlife. With options for bus and Land Cruiser travel, we ensure a smooth journey even in challenging weather.

Kathmandu Arrival
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. In the evening at 7:00 p.m., you will receive a briefing about the Kailash Mansarovar tour. Enjoy dinner and relax during your overnight stay at a comfortable 3-star hotel, such as Hotel Vaishali or Manang.
Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, visiting sacred sites such as Pashupatinath Temple and Jal Narayan Temple, among others. In the evening, you’ll have time to finalize your preparations and pack for the upcoming yatra. Enjoy an overnight stay at a 3-star hotel, like Hotel Vaishali or Manang.
Kathmandu to Dhunche or Syabrubesi
After breakfast, we will begin our drive to Dhunche, located at 2,000 meters above sea level, covering a distance of 130 km in about 6 hours. Alternatively, we may drive to Syabrubesi, situated at 1,600 meters above sea level, covering 145 km in approximately 6.5 hours. Overnight stay will be at a guest house.
Drive to Kyirong County
From Syabrubesi, we will drive to Rasuwagadhi, located at 1,800 meters above sea level, covering 15 km in about 45 minutes. Here, we will complete immigration and customs formalities to exit Nepal and enter Tibet. Afterward, we will continue the journey to Kyirong County, situated at 3,950 meters, covering 105 km in 3 hours. Overnight stay will be at a hotel.
Acclimatization Kyirong County
This entire day is dedicated to acclimatization for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. To prepare for the upcoming trek, we may take short treks. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Drive to Dongba / Saga
After breakfast, we will drive to Dongba, covering 335 km in about 7 hours. The route passes through Thorong La, Paige-Tso Lake, and along the Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay will be at a hotel, such as Xixa Panama or Mu Being Chung.
Dongba to Mansarovar Lake
Early morning drive to Mansarovar Lake, taking about 7 hours. We’ll complete the 105 km Parikrama of the lake by vehicle in 2-3 hours. Overnight stay at a guest house near the lake with your first view of Mount Kailash.
Lake Mansarovar to Darchen
Wake up early to witness the sacred beauty of Mansarovar Lake. In the afternoon, take a holy dip and perform puja at the lake. After the rituals, we will drive to Darchen, a 2-hour journey, and stay overnight at a hotel.
First Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash
If permits are obtained, we’ll drive to Asthapad. Otherwise, after a short drive from Mansarovar, we’ll head to Yamdwar and begin the 10 km trek to Dirapuk for the first day of Mount Kailash Parikrama, where you’ll witness the North Face of Mount Kailash. Those not doing the Parikrama will return to Darchen for a 2-night stay, enjoying views of Mount Kailash and performing puja. Parikrama can be done on foot, by horse, or skipped altogether.
Second Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash
Start early for the 22 km trek from Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk, crossing the challenging Dolma La Pass at 18,600 feet. The first 6-7 km is steep and demanding, but the rest of the 16 km is easier, descending to Gauri Kund and continuing along the river. Along the way, you’ll pass sacred sites like Shivasthal and Gauri Kund. Overnight stay will be at a lodge or guest house.
Drive to Dongba / Saga
The third and final day of the Parikrama covers 8 km, taking about 3 hours, usually finishing by 9:00–10:00 a.m. Afterward, we will drive to Darchen, reunite with the rest of the group, and continue the journey to Dongba. Overnight stay at a hotel like Xixa Panama or Mu Being Chung.
Dongba to Kyirong
Start driving to Kyirong County—270 km/5.5 hours. Overnight stay at the hotel
Drive to Kathmandu
After completing immigration formalities, drive back to Kathmandu via the Rasuwagadhi border. The journey covers approximately 265 km and takes around 8–10 hours. Overnight stay at a hotel like Hotel Vaishali or Manang.
Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, you have free time until your flight. We will drop you off at the airport 1-2 hours before your flight, which is a 30-minute drive.
Kailash Yatra 2024 By Helicopter From Kathmandu
Trip to Temple offers a luxury Kailash Mansarovar Yatra package by helicopter. Start from Kathmandu and fly via Nepalgunj to Simikot, continuing by helicopter to Hilsa at the Nepal-Tibet border. Stay an extra night in Purang for acclimatization before driving to Mansarovar Lake. Complete the 105 km Parikrama by bus, take a dip, and perform puja at the sacred lake. Afterward, proceed to Darchen, the base for the Kailash Parikrama.

Kathmandu to Nepalgunj
After breakfast, we’ll head to the airport for a flight to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the evening, our representative will brief you on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Overnight stay at Hotel Siddhartha or Hotel Cygnett in Nepalgunj.
Nepalgunj -Simikot- Hilsa – Purang
Early morning, drive to Nepalgunj airport for a 40–50 minute flight to Simikot. After resting in Simikot, take a 10–20 minute helicopter ride to Hilsa. Wait for the group, then drive to Purang. Overnight stay at Hotel Purang, Hotel Himalaya, or similar.
Acclimatization at Purang
Spend the day acclimatizing in Purang, with an optional small trek to prepare for the Kailash Mansarovar Parikrama. Purang is a clean town with shops offering trekking gear and essentials for the Yatra. Don’t forget to bargain! Overnight stay at Hotel Purang, Hotel Himalaya, or similar.
Purang to Mansarovar Lake
Travel to Mansarovar Lake by AC Volvo bus (2 hours), then begin the Parikrama. Take a dip and perform puja at the holy lake, completing the 105 km Parikrama in 2-3 hours. Catch the first glimpse of Mount Kailash next to the lake. Overnight stay at a guest house near Mansarovar. If weather permits, visit the lake at night or early morning (Brahm Muhurt) to experience its divine beauty.
Mansarovar to Darchen
After a short drive from Lake Mansarovar, arrive in Darchen, the base for Kailash Parikrama and Ashtapad Darshan.
Note: Ashtapad visit depends on permission from Chinese authorities. Overnight stay at Hotel Himalaya or similar.
First Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash
Start early and drive to Yamdwar to begin the 10 km trek to Dirapuk, marking the first day of Kailash Parikrama with a blessed view of the North Face of Mount Kailash.
Note: Parikrama is optional. Those not participating will travel back to Darchen, where they can stay for 2 nights, enjoy views of Mount Kailash, and perform puja. Meals and accommodations will be provided, and they will rejoin the group after the third day of Parikrama.
Second Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash
Begin the 22 km trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass (18,600 ft) and then to Zuthulpuk. The first 6-7 km up to Dolma La Pass is the most challenging, with a steep climb. Take your time and rest when needed. After reaching the pass, descend to Gauri Kund, followed by a more comfortable 16 km trek along the river to Zuthulpuk. You’ll pass through sacred sites like Shivasthal and enjoy views of the east face of Mount Kailash.
Overnight stay: lodge or guest house.
Drive to Purang
The final stretch of the Kailash Parikrama is an 8 km trek, taking around 3 hours to complete. Usually, the parikrama finishes by 9:00–10:00 a.m. Afterward, we drive to Darchen, reunite with other group members, and continue to Dongba.
Overnight stay: hotel (Xixa Panama, Mu being Chung, or similar).
Hilsa – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu
Drive to Hilsa in an AC luxury vehicle, then take a helicopter flight back to Simikot, followed by flights to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu.
Overnight stay at a 4-star hotel (Hotel Shankar, Hotel Royal Singi, or similar).
Departure from Kathmandu
Afterward, proceed to your home destination with the blessings of Lord Shiva!

Kailash Mansarovar Inner Parikrama 2024
Join our 13-day tour starting in Kathmandu or Lucknow. Tourists from Lucknow will be picked up in the morning for a 4-5 hour drive to Nepalgunj in an AC coach, while those arriving in Kathmandu will fly to Nepalgunj. Enjoy an extra night in Taklakot for acclimatization. Then, drive approximately 2 hours by AC Volvo to Mansarovar Lake to begin the 105 km Parikrama by bus. Take a dip and perform puja at the divine lake. After completing the Mansarovar Parikrama, proceed to Darchen, the base for Kailash Parikrama. The Kailash Inner Parikrama is renowned for its popularity and challenge among pilgrims.

Lucknow / Kathmandu Arrival
Arrive in Kathmandu or Lucknow and check in to a 4-star hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Kathmandu / Lucknow to Nepalgunj
After breakfast, we’ll drive from Lucknow to Nepalgunj in an AC coach (4-5 hours). Those arriving in Kathmandu will fly to Nepalgunj. In the evening, there will be a Yatra briefing.
Overnight stay at Hotel Siddhartha or similar.
Nepalgunj – Simikot- Hilsa – Purang
Early morning, head to the airport for a flight to Simikot. After resting for a few hours, take a helicopter to Hilsa. Wait for other travelers to join, then drive to Purang.
Overnight stay at Hotel Purang.
Flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot: 40–50 minutes; helicopter from Simikot to Hilsa: 20–25 minutes.
Acclimatization at Purang
After reaching Purang, enjoy a free day to acclimatize and possibly take a short trek in preparation for Mount Kailash Parikrama.
Overnight stay at Hotel Purang.
Purang is a clean town with various shops offering items for the Yatra, such as trekking sticks, water gallons, and snacks. Don’t forget to bargain for a better deal while exploring and experiencing the local culture.
Purang to Mansarovar Lake
Travel to Holy Mansarovar Lake by AC Volvo bus, a journey of about 2 hours. Upon arrival, complete the Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake (approximately 105 km), take a holy dip, and perform puja, praying for the world’s well-being. En route, catch your first glimpse of the majestic Kailash Parvat—an overwhelming sight next to the lake.
Overnight stay at a guest house near Lake Mansarovar. If weather allows, you can also visit the lake at night or during early morning (Brahm Muhurt) to experience its divine tranquility.
Mansarovar to Darchen
After breakfast near Lake Mansarovar, we’ll head to Darchen, the base for Kailash Parikrama. The evening is free for leisure, allowing you to prepare and rest before the trek.
First Day Outer Parikrama of Mount Kailash
After breakfast, we’ll proceed to Yamdwar and trek 10 km to Dirapuk, where you’ll be blessed with the darshan of the North Face of Mount Kailash, considered highly auspicious. If available, ponies can be hired for the outer Parikrama trek to help prepare for the inner trek.
Second Day Outer Parikrama of Mount Kailash
On the second day, we’ll trek to the Charansparsh of Mount Kailash, a 5-7 km journey taking about 3-5 hours. This offers a closer view of the North Face. After returning, the remainder of the day will be for rest, preparing for the next 22-km trek.
Third Day Outer Parikrama of Mount Kailash
Early in the morning, we’ll start the 22 km trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass, reaching an altitude of 18,600 feet. This segment is considered the most challenging part of the Outer Parikrama Route. The first 6-7 km to Dolma La Pass has a steep climb; all yatris are advised to take their time and rest as needed. After Dolma La, the trek descends to Gauri Kund and continues along the Karnali River to Zuthulpuk, where we’ll stay overnight in a lodge or guest house.
Important: During this trek, we’ll pass through Shivasthal—a sacred site believed to grant heavenly wishes—and Gauri Kund. After Dolma Pass, the trail offers a pleasant trek alongside the river, with views of the east face of Mount Kailash.
Drive to Darchen
After a short trek, you will reach Darchen, where we’ll stay overnight.
Drive to Purang
After breakfast, we will drive to Purang for an overnight stay at the guest house.
Hilsa – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu / Lucknow
Drive to Hilsa by AC luxury vehicle, then fly back to Simikot by helicopter, followed by a flight to Nepalgunj. From there, proceed to Lucknow by road or fly to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a 4-star hotel.
Kathmandu / Lucknow departure

The Complete Guide to Srikhand Mahadev Trek
The Shrikhand Mahadev trek (5,227 meters/17,150 ft) is a challenging pilgrim trail named after Lord Shiva. It offers stunning views of the Kullu, Jorkandan, and Rangrik ranges of Kinnaur from the Parvati valley.
The trek is commonly approached via the Nirmand – Jaon village route. Starting from Shimla, the journey takes you across the Satluj river into Kullu district. The trek can be completed in 5–6 days, including 3 days of trekking.

Drive 350km, 12hrs from Chandigarh to Kalpa
Upon your arrival at Chandigarh Train Station, you will be greeted by our company representative. The first day features a scenic drive from Chandigarh to Kalpa, traversing the picturesque Shimla district. You’ll pass through charming towns and villages such as Narkanda, Kufri, Theog, and Powari, allowing you to enjoy the tranquil landscapes along the way.
Expect a journey lasting over 12 hours as we make our way to Kalpa. Once we arrive, you can either explore the town or take some time to relax. Meals will be provided, and you’ll be shown to your accommodations.
From Kalpa/Tangling to Ganesh Park (Trek – 7 km from Tangling)
After a delightful breakfast, embark on an early journey to Ganesh Park, starting your trek from Tangling village. Nestled along the Sutlej River, Tangling is a charming spot where you can fill up your water bottles. The trail runs alongside a metal road, with stunning views of the Kinner Kailash mountain range.
As you continue toward Ganesh Park, you’ll traverse a 7-kilometer stretch featuring a steep ascent. The path winds through lush Deodar forests, offering a warm welcome and breathtaking views. Along the way, you’ll encounter Kailash Darr/Dwaar, the entrance to Kinner Kailash.
Ganesh Park to Kinner Kailash Darshan
Start early for the most challenging day of the yatra. After breakfast at Ganesh Park, we’ll trek to Kinnaur Kailash via Gufa Campsite. The first 90 minutes are steep, but the trail improves as you go. Enjoy the scenery and take a break at Gufa Campsite before hiking to Parvati Kund, a sacred glacial lake named after the goddess. This 3-kilometer trek takes 1-2 hours and features snow and pebbles. As you ascend, admire the breathtaking Kinner Kailash mountain range, but be cautious on the narrow trail. After a rewarding day, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Ganesh Park Campsite.
Gansh Park to Tangling
After breakfast, make your way to Tangling and then to Ganesh Park. You can stop for tea at your own expense along the way. Exercise caution on the downhill slopes, as they can be tricky. From Tangling, return to Kalpa by car, where you can freshen up and rest. A hot dinner will be served, and overnight accommodations will be provided in Kalpa.
Travel from Tangling/Kalpa to Chandigarh
Covering 350 kilometers in 12 hours, it’s time to say farewell to the wonderful experiences we’ve shared. We will drive to Shimla and drop you off before heading to Chandigarh. You’re welcome to make additional reservations as needed. We expect to arrive in Chandigarh around ten o’clock in the evening, marking the end of our services.
Buffer Day if required
Please note that we will designate Day 6 as a buffer day due to the unpredictable weather conditions in mountainous and remote areas. This buffer day allows for flexibility in case bad weather delays the trek or makes it unsafe to continue. We recommend booking your train or flight tickets considering this buffer day.
Manimahesh Trek
The Mani Mahesh trek is one of the most beautiful treks in Himachal Pradesh and holds great religious significance for Hindus. The Manimahesh Lake Trek, also referred to as Dal Lake or Manimahesh, features a high-altitude lake at an elevation of 4,080 meters (13,390 ft), located near the Manimahesh Kailash Peak in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, within the Bharmour subdivision of Chamba district.
This lake is considered second only to Lake Manasarovar in Tibet in terms of its religious importance. It serves as the destination for a revered pilgrimage trek known as the ‘Manimahesh Yatra,’ which takes place in August or September, corresponding to the month of Bhadon in the Hindu calendar, on the eighth day of the New Moon. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has officially recognized this trek as a state-level pilgrimage.

Arrive at Pathankot Cantt Railway Station/Bus and meet our representative for a drive to Bharmour via Chamba. Enjoy lunch en route. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel in Bharmour.
In the evening, relax or visit the 84 Chaurasi Temple, located in the heart of Bharmour. This temple, with its 84 shrines built around 1400 years ago, holds significant religious importance. The Chaurasi Temple, constructed in the 7th century, features a mix of large and small temples in its complex. Overnight stay in Bharmour.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner
In the evening, you can relax at your leisure or visit the 84 Chaurasi Temple, located in the center of Bharmour. This temple holds immense religious significance and dates back approximately 1,400 years. The complex, known as Chaurasi, features 84 shrines surrounding the main temple. The term “Chaurasi” means “eighty-four” in Hindi. Built in the 7th century, the Chaurasi complex consists of both large and small temples. Overnight stay in Bharmour.
Bharmor – Brahmani Temple (06 km trek) – Bharmor
After breakfast, embark on a 6km trek to visit the Brahmani Temple and return to the hotel. The Brahmani Temple is dedicated to Goddess Brahmani Mata. Local belief holds that Bharmour was once called Brahmpura after the goddess. According to legend, when Lord Shiva traveled to Manimahesh Kailash, he granted a boon to Goddess Brahmani that all pilgrims heading to Manimahesh must first bathe in her holy pool, or their pilgrimage would not be accepted by Lord Shiva. Therefore, every visitor takes a dip in Brahmani’s holy pool before heading to Manimahesh Lake. Overnight stay in Bharmour.

DAY 03: BHARMOR – HUDSAR (BY JEEP 13 KM) – DHANCHO (BY TREK 7KM) (2280M)
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Hadsar, the last point accessible by vehicle. From Hadsar, begin the 7km trek to Dhancho, arriving in the afternoon. Enjoy lunch upon arrival, followed by free time in the evening to relax. Overnight stay in camps at Dhancho.

This morning, after breakfast, you will receive a packed lunch before starting your trek to Manimahesh Lake, situated at an elevation of 14,500 feet. Spend some time enjoying the stunning beauty of the lake before heading back to the Dhancho base camp for an overnight stay in tents. Manimahesh Lake, also known as Dal Lake, is a high-altitude lake located near Manimahesh Kailash Peak, at an elevation of 4,080 meters (13,390 ft).
Danchoo – Bharmor – Chamba (Chamba 996m)
This morning, after breakfast, trek down to Hadsar, covering a distance of 14 kilometers. From Hadsar, drive back to Chamba via Bharmour. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel in Chamba for an overnight stay.
Chamba – Khajiyar – Dalhousie – Pathankot Railway Station Drop
Today after relaxed breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive back to Pathankot railway station to board the late evening train to Delhi.
Adi Kailash
Adi Kailash, also known as Chota Kailash or Little Kailash, is a sacred mountain located in Dharchula, Uttarakhand, India.
